HORIZON SOLUTIONS ACQUIRES N. H. BRAGG
Horizon Solutions LLC has purchased New England-based, privately-held N. H. Bragg. Founded in 1854, N. H. Bragg has grown to become a recognized market leader throughout Maine, New Hampshire and northeastern Massachusetts. N. H. Bragg is headquartered in Bangor, Maine with branches in Scarborough, Maine, and Tewksbury, Massachusetts. With approximately 60 employees, N. H. Bragg provides industrial and safety supplies to over 4,000 customers across New England. They serve paper mills, machine shops, construction sites and shipyards from their three stocking locations. The transaction closed on Jan. 1, 2019.

Horizon Solutions LLC, today announced that John Kerkhove, current Vice President of Global Sales at Eaton Crouse-Hinds, has been named President and CEO, effective January 3, 2018. Mike Herrmann, current President and CEO, will continue as the Chief Financial Officer after the transition. In addition, Karen Baker, Executive Vice President of Sales Operations, Products, and Services Management, was promoted to Chief Operating Officer effective December 5, 2017. Today’s leadership announcements are the result of a succession plan overseen by the Horizon Solutions Board of Directors since 2013.

Kerkhove began his career in 1986 as Sales Engineer at Square D and subsequently served in sales and marketing positions across the company. Transitioning to Eaton Crouse-Hinds in 2005, he was promoted to Vice President of Sales North America, in 2011, and to Vice President of Global Sales, in 2015. Kerkhove earned a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Purdue University.

EnclosureMods made EZ is the most versatile solution when it comes to accommodating a wide range of global enclosure dimensional standards. It can accommodate enclosures up to 93 inches tall by 86 inches wide and back panels up to 92 inches tall by 94 inches wide. The machine offers programmed automated modifications for a variety of materials, including mild carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, die cast aluminum, copper, or any composite materials including PVC, polycarbonate, thermoplastic and fiberglass.
