In the lighting world today, education is key, especially as LED products are improving at the speed of well, light. The more you know about these innovations, the more you can avoid lighting inconsistencies, reduce energy consumption, lower utility bills, improve safety, and increase productivity.
LEDs are dramatically better than fluorescent lights. They have a longer lifespan, emit brighter light, offer a smaller footprint, and most importantly, consume less energy. That’s why many states have created incentive programs to encourage businesses to make the switch to LEDs.
To determine the cause failures in otherwise good lamps, our team developed a plan to run on-site tests and test failing lamps, utilizing thermography, a branch of infrared imaging science, also known as thermal imaging, a relatively new way to find system hot spots.
